Looking to reduce passenger on-boarding times? Introducing the new NGTS Validator.

The NGTS® Validator will securely connect with your onboard ETMs (Electronic Ticketing Machines) seamlessly to accept contact-less taps making the on-boarding process quicker and more efficient.

The NGTS® Validator records and processes contactless taps and tickets with QR codes. It then delivers the ticketing information to the ETM making it a natural extension for selling tickets on the bus. The NGTS® Validator will also communicate with the ETM to report errors so the driver can detect if issues have occurred. The driver will have the capability to reboot the NGTS® Validator from the ETM without needing to leave the seat.

NGTS® Validators can also be used as stand-alone authenticators. When deployed at bus stops for example, passengers can record their taps before boarding the bus. The NGTS® Validator independently communicates with the Metric NGTS® back office software to register the taps and subsequently process payments.
