Case Study : Collins Coaches

Our clients, Collins Coaches, are based in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan and have been offering Coach and Bus services to the travelling public for over 40 years. They specialise in coach tours throughout Ireland and the UK, Day and City tours, Airport transfers, Corporate travel and Private hire. They also have a number of Dublin Commuter routes.

Collins Coaches went live with debit and credit card payments on 17th March, 2022 on all their Dublin Commuter Routes meaning that their customers can now pay onboard using cash, Leap, DSP cards, debit and credit cards and also make payments using smart devices.

They have achieved a 25% decrease in the number of cash payments taken in the first month of their pilot scheme with us and expect this to rise to 80% as their customers make the move away from cash. It is hoped to introduce it across their whole fleet in time.
